A practitioner of mental health counseling and individualized therapies and specializing in work with adolescents and adults, Amy delivers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based treatments for adults and adolescents dealing with a range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, acute stress, social adjustment, suicidal ideation, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), social/emotional challenges of being a gifted student, and relationship problems.
All therapies are uniquely tailored to the specific needs of each client. No matter the challenges you are facing, Amy will help you to recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to help you to see things in a different, healthier way.

Amy has a special interest in helping individuals and their families in working through the psycho-social stressors related to challenging medical diagnoses. As a behavioral health professional, Amy has had the privilege of facilitating dramatic individual transformations using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy and Mindfulness with clients suffering from a variety of disorders and other struggles. Amy is eager to apply her experience and compassion with clients as they begin to address issues that will help them to improve their quality of life and attain a sense of fulfillment.
